Getting There & Away
Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat airport is Vietnam's busiest international air hub, followed by Hanoi's Noi Bai airport. A connecting flight to and from Dalat leaves Ho Chi Minh City daily with two flights on weekends, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul and Taipei have emerged as the principle embarkation points for Vietnam. Canada, the US and England do not have direct flights. Departure tax is US$ 12 which can be paid in dong or US dollars.

Visa Information: You must have a Visa to enter Vietnam. Organise one before you arrive at your local Embassy as they are not available at the ariport. Note that Vietnamese visas specify your departure point from the country. If you want to change this you'll have to pay a visit to the immigration police or the Foreign Ministry.
